An elegant apartment with a soothing view of the port in Gdynia, designed by a local interior design studio – Interno Izabela Gajewska.

Treating it as a pure canvas. Studio Interno fulfilled this assumption thanks to soothing colors, marble and wood, which, in combination with stainless steel, was to refer to the construction of yachts. A neutral base consisting of off-white walls, natural oak cladding and micro-cement flooring was chosen to maximize the feeling of space.

“These tonal colors evoke a sense of calm, but also create a versatile backdrop for custom-made furniture and modern design,” says Izabela.

The main design assumption was the sea view. It is a daily spectacle of the infinity, the majestic and mysterious force of the horizon, which is the main and only image here. The kitchen makes efficient use of compact space, with bleached oak woodwork, integrated appliances and distinctive details. A solid, oak table supported by a steel leg, which is a natural extension of the island, in a set with a light, Scandinavian form of chairs, invites you to feast every day. The living room open to the kitchen is an oasis of natural colors and textures of linen, which intensifies the effect of ethereal atmosphere and allows you to dissolve in the interior.

The game of references has been strengthened by reflections and the strategic location of the INBANI mirror. It is located in the center of the asymmetrical corridor leading to the night zone. The bedroom is a harmony of warm and pleasant to the touch linen textures. The night zone has been cleverly combined with an open-private bathroom by the Spanish brand INBANI and an oak wardrobe.
